When Hazel met… Tulsi Tamora

Hello Hazel, I’m very well, thank you. I’ve been spending lockdown re-reading books in my collection I’d completely forgotten about. Once lockdown eases, I simply can’t wait to be back dining with my dates, knowing that the end of night will be filled with some tantalising activities. Getting to know someone and then getting on top of them is an insatiable desire of mine.

Being a sensual mistress in London taps into the most delicious part of my desire – the desire to gently dominate a man. I absolutely love meeting my dates, especially when they’re new or nervous, and creating a warm atmosphere that eases them into gentle submission. You can never go wrong with the simple things – a book for me to add to my ever teetering bookshelves, a bouquet of roses. I adore objects with artistic craftsmanship that I can cherish long-term, such as vintage fashion pieces, jewellery, and homeware. I also adore experiences that we can enjoy together. For example, luxury toys for us to use, lingerie for me (or him!) to wear, memberships to galleries and theatres we can visit, and couples trips to the spa.

As I’ve alluded to, I’m a voracious reader. I have been reading ardently ever since I could, and went on to study English Literature. I’ll read anything from experimental fiction to historical non-fiction. At the moment, I’m reading Jutland by Selima Hill, a beautiful collection of contemporary poetry.
To spoil myself, I love leafing through a new cookbook and trying out a new recipe my eye falls on. At the moment, I’m trying out East by Meera Sodha.
