Ready to get to know another KLE member a little more intimately? This week it’s blonde bombshell Lilly Watson in the hot seat.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?  Sunshine and the sound of the sea. A few days without rushing.

What is your greatest fear? Failure

Which living person do you most admire? I have a lot of people in my life I admire for their professional success and just for who they are, their spirit. Margot Alderton, Nikki D, Elle Voss and Louisa Knight are just a few names that spring immediately to mind.

What is your greatest extravagance? Taking black cabs instead of the tube.

What is your current state of mind? Looking forward to spring. I suffer a little from SAD.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Sensibleness! Not that I’m against being sensible of course but so much of the time I think it’s just a cover for mindlessly conforming out of fear and not even being brave enough to admit that’s what you’re doing. “You’re not like me, I’m sensible.” Maybe you’re just unimaginative!

On what occasion do you lie? When a cab driver asks what I do for a living.

What do you most like about your appearance? Sounds weird but I really like my upper arms! And eyebrows. I’m generally very comfortable naked and I know that makes me incredibly lucky.

What is the quality you most like in a lover? Generosity. I can wax lyrical about how important this is.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?  “Y’know.” It’s a bad habit. I annoy myself with it.

When and where were you happiest? Genuinely, I get happier every day. My adult life has been a fairly steady progression from not-happy to happy. So I’d say I’m at my happiest point so far right now, but I hope to get even happier very soon. My main resolution for 2025 is to move into my dream home and I’m doing everything I can to make it happen. Security makes me happier than anything.

Which talent would you most like to have? Being better at parties and group situations.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? I’d come back as a sex worker’s pet cat or dog. They get the best lives. Beyond spoiled.

Where would you most like to live? Deep in the countryside, near the forest and driving distance from the sea.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? Paying off my first mortgage so young. I’m such a square but that was huge for me. Security makes me happy.

What is your most treasured possession? A sexy poster of Dita Von Teese she signed “To Lilly”. A client took me to see her once and sent me off to the meet and greet too because he knew how much I like her. It’s inspiring to chat with probably the most successful sex worker alive. I framed the poster and hung it on my wall.

What do you most value in your friends? Thoughtfulness, support, and being open to shenanigans whenever and wherever.

What is your most marked characteristic? Maybe my voice? People comment on it. I sound very English and prim and proper. Margot calls me “demure, then wicked.”

Who are your favourite writers?  When I read novels, it’s mostly Twentieth Century American classics like The Great Gatsby and Valley of the Dolls. I love anything set in New York City for some reason. I must have lived there in another life, maybe in the Roaring Twenties. I love reading rags to riches tales of glamorous women making it in New York, whether it’s Marlene Dietrich or Anna Delvey. Mostly I read non-fiction. I’m on a history and philosophy binge at the moment.

What constitutes your perfect night out? Cocktails, wild sex and a late dinner somewhere quiet.
